I am an associate professor of the Graduate School of Culture Technology at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). I am also an affiliate professor of the Graduate School of Artificial Intelligence and an advisor of Neutune.
Before joining KAIST, I was a staff research engineer of the audio R&D team at Qualcomm. I received my PhD in Music from Stanford University, studying at the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA). Before my research career, I was a software/DSP engineer at Young Chang (Kurzweil) where I worked on developing musial synthesizers and digital pianos. For a full history, here is my CV.
